| I'm surprised that the NISMOs are failing in a similar way as the OEMs. I don't believe it has anything to do with positive voltage but rather the materials the injector is made of. There's no interface between the fuel and the electrical connections so that sounds like a dubious association to me as well. I was hoping to hear that the NISMOs had a different failure mechanism but with high resistance it seems like it's the same old Nissan subcontractor problem. I'm inclined to go with a completely different injector when the time comes. It makes me sick spending all that money on injectors only to have them fail again within the lifetime of the car. I'm no mechanic but I've almost never heard of injectors failing on cars -- certainly not through electrical failure. It's just pathetic! Thanks for the info Harry. You've convinced me to change out of Nissan injectors completely.
